Like many people, my interest in science and astronomy started by with watching cartoons like Duck Dodgers in the 24th and 1/2 century, and by reading books by Patrick Moore, particularly my first science fiction book  “The Domes of Mars” (sadly out of print now). It has only grown since then and eventually led me to the decision to start a blog.Powerful inspiration from such childish beginnings.

So if, like me you like a bit of nostalgia then here is a reminder of what cartoons were like back in the 1950’s. Inspiring, funny and unforgettable. Probably my favorite cartoon of all time… enjoy!
