Over the last few days I have posted details of a number of Astronomy events here in Ireland.  So I decided to create a Google Calender which I’ve integrated into my this blog.  I have added a number of lectures and events between now and Christmas, but I hope to expand it to include key astronomical events. Mars: Kevin Nolan

I did want to give a special mention to Kevin Nolan an old friend I recently met with to discuss his recent book on Mars. Kevin will be giving a lecture in the Blackrock Castle Observatory at 2.30 Saturday Nov 7th entitled Mars: A Cosmic Stepping Stone!

It should be an excellent lecture if you can make it.
